What are some other alternatives for a foam pit where you can practice tricks you have not done safely?

I want some other things that you can do than making a foam pit where you can practice new tricks for mountain boarding without having to build a foam pit, and not going off a jump in the water. Thanks

Try asking some other people who do mountain boarding what they do to practice.  You may also get a better answer if you post it in another section as this is motorcycle racing.
