  1. Regular paper is smelly and doesn't absorb well.

    You can buy bedding at most pet stores, just no cedar or un kiln dried shavings.

    You can also do fleece http://www.guinealynx.info/bedding.html

    Hay is not absorbent either and can mold when wet.
