What are some other ways of drinking more water?

I try to drink my eight glasses a day, but it's just so boring and taste bland.

If you add cordial or sweetener to your water does it still have the same nutriants and goodness?

I just want to drink more water but i just don't like the taste.

    Eat Chinese food, soda crackers, ginger, Atomic fireballs anything to get your 5 glasses of water  & believe me after sucking on a fireball you'll need  water.

    No need to add sweetner/cordial.  I freeze my water bottles 1/2 of full water & with lemonade kool-aid without sugar & freeze em,. just add more water that way it's cold for a longer period (actually any kool-aid without the sugar will work & you also get vitamin C) . Iced cold water with fresh lemons or limes is the best.  Have a good AM. :0)

    Additional Details: you can use any fresh fruit for that matter. I  personally like ice cubes in my water with fresh fruit. Try coffee, tea, soups, vitamin water, Crystal Light these all have water in em.

  4. Eat lots of really spicy foods and the first thing youd run for is water.

    Cordial is full of sugar but sweetener might be ok. Other good alternatives are Diet Coke, Iced Tea, milk

  5.     add lemon or lime juice if you want something sweeter add cherry or apple or cranberry juice to your water. if you are trying to loose weight stick with lime or lemon as they are both natural dieretics.

  7. Water doesn't have nutrients in it, but your body needs it for almost all bodily functions. Try being active and you will be thirsty. You could eat something really hot and then you'll want to drink the water to cool your mouth off!!!!!

  8. You don't need to add anything into the water. To drink more water is simply just drinking a fresh water.

A book I just read called The Fly in the Ointment written by a chemist (Dr. Joe Schwarczi) says 8 glasses are unnecessary, 5 is enough.  Also, I've read in health publications that a little fresh fruit juice or cordial added is fine.  Water doesn't add nutrients, but our system needs it to keep functioning.

  10. You don't have to drink all that water every day.   You get liquid in tea, soups, juice.   Adding cordial is just adding flavoured sugar water and is fattening and unhealthy.

It's a myth that you need to drink masses of water every day - look it up on the internet, people have died because they drank too much water.  There's also one lady in the UK who now has severe brain damage because her dietician told her to drink a lot a water every day.  It depleted her salt levels, which in turn led to swelling of the brain, and now she's brain damaged.  You only need to drink when you're thirsty.

  13. crystal light makes these packets that you can put inside your water bottle to give it flavor.  they have lemonade, raspberry, iced tea, a bunch.  enjoy!

Try using a citrus fruit slice in the water or what about doing the same with sparkling water, could use soda water or mineral water also, no calories and tastes great, weak black green tea with a slice of lemon or lime is also very tasty and slimming also, but remember some teas have caffiene in them, so its not so good to have them close to bed time, unless you have green tea or decaf tea, they can be very nice, you just have to experiment a little, hope this helps, goodluck! :)

    im stuck for any more ideas, sorry , but even drinking it out of a bottle makes it easier to get through the eight a day.

  19. I drink cordial, it pretty much is the same plus sugar, but you get the fluid which good and all. I think drinking cordial is fine, oh and don't go for the no added sugar cordial, well unless you don't mind the sweetener taste (I personally hate it). However if you add some lemon to your water it's great for your skin and less bland.

I like fresh lemon or lime in my water, especially when i go out to eat.Sometimes I add Stevia (it's a naturat sweetner made from a plant for all us  conscenscious friends out there).Lemon also provides nutrients, and acts as a natural anti-biotic to fight off the nasty stuff in the water  AKA: Bacteria

  21. Sliced lemon or lime is a good start.

    You can also add sliced cucumber to water, it is very refreshing ice cold.
