  1. Well its really mountainous and hilly. Being so close to the equator most of it is humid and warm. But in the mountains it can be freezing! The cost also has tons of really great beaches.

  2. OOOOH! I know this one.

    Mainly - hills and llamas.

    Oh, and Macchu Picchu.

And men in rugs playing pan pipes.

  3. To the west, the coast.

To the east, the Amazon rain forest (which covers more than 50% of the territory).

Between these two are the Andes, which depending on the region may vary in height, weathers and ecosystem. The biggest canyon in the Americas is also in Peru. The Colca Canyon is two times deeper than the Grand Canyon in Colorado.

  4. The Pacific Coast: sandy beaches, a cold current that comes from the south (Antarctica), which is rich in sea life.

The Andes Mountains: second highest mountain range in the world, many peaks above 20,000 feet.

The Atacama Desert: driest desert in the world, some parts have never had any recorded rainfall.

The Amazon Rainforest; the western reach of the lowland Amazon forest, found in Peru has the highest biodiversity of any rainforest in the world, and is known as the "green paradise" of the Amazon.

Rivers: including the birth of the Amazon River in Mt. Mismi, and parts of the Apurimac and upper Maranon Rivers, wild and unnavigable.

Canyons: Such as the Colca Canyon, the deepest in the world.

Altiplano: High plains containing unique ecosystems.

Cloud Forests: where the Andes meets the Amazon; great tracts of which are still unexplored.
