    red light, green light

    red rover red rover

    simon says

    balloon relay

    egg and spoon relay

dont know what its called by all of my children loved this one split into teams of about five run to a certain point and put on all of the clothing in a bag or box and run back to line take all off and pass to next person who must return to the box and put it all on again and repeat

    horse shoes

  3. red light green light-what time is it mr fox-tag-or just make up a relay!

  4. Im not sure what this game is called, but I remember playing it. There is 1 wolf, 1 mother hen (or father rooster), and the rest of the kids play baby chicks. The chicks form a line behind the hen/rooster. The wolf stands about 6 feet away at the beginning of the game. The line of chicks is not allowed to break. The hen/rooster moves side to side to try and protect the chicks from the wolf. The wolf is allowed to move closer, but cannot enter from the back of the line. Once the line of chicks is broken, whoever is in the broken line is out.

This game might sound a little complicated, but its a nice change from the usual tag and freeze tag. Enjoy! =]

  5. try age old favorites..swimming, skipping ropes, chains, cycle races, make kids balance something on their heads/spoons in mouth, and race. this will help them improve their gait. What color you want? There a kid will say a color, and other kids will run off to find the color without being caught by the crocodile.

  6. well water balloon fights,

    flag football

soccer (all of my brothers love it)

    things like that

  7. don't know about leap frogging, skipping is better, running straight track, swimming, table tennis, dancing...

  8. for a three year old, heres a great game: you have a bucket. this game needs at least three  people to play. the person with the bucket has a mouthful of water. then, one person tries to make the bucket person laugh, and spit out the water. the person that makes the bucket person laugh gets ten points. a game for a ten year old, if he or she is a tomboy, is called pangallactic gargleblaster. its easy, you have to act like you have just drunk a pangallactic gargleblaster.

  9. At our house we like "What time is it Mr Fox?" If you have never played it, it is very simple to learn and it helps kids with their numbers:

One person is Mr Fox, and the rest are just playing. Mr Fox stands at one end of the field/yard/wherever (though this game requires a bit of room to run and play). The kids who are just participating yell "What time is it Mr Fox?"  Mr Fox replies it's X o'clock (A number between one and twelve, only use numbers on the hour...nothing like 10 past 3 or 6:30). The participating kids then take that many number of steps towards Mr Fox. When they get as close to Mr Fox as he wants them to get, on the time they ask "What time is it Mr Fox?" He yells back it's dinner time, and chases after the kids who have to run back to the starting line or they will be "eaten" and whoever gets caught has to be the next Mr Fox.
