I want to emigrate from the UK. I'm an accountant and want to live in the suburbs or the country and work in town. I thought maybe London or Toronto. I would want to live within about an hours drive at the most. What are some nice places?

  1. Kitchener-Waterloo is where i'm from, it's an up-and-coming area with a lot of new development and an increasing population due to those fleeing from Toronto because of the increasing costs to live there. If your an accountant, we have offices for both Deloitte and KPMG in town. It's practically right in between London and Toronto, with about an hour long drive into both places......

  2. Niagara On The Lake Is Beautiful!

    Port Dalhousie is Pretty too

    Both are really friendly neighbourhoods

And about an hour or an hour and a half away from toronto

But you can take the Go train too

  3. How about my home town it is a hour between both places and the houses range between 75,000 and 100,000 pound ($150,000 to 200,000 CAN), 1 bdrm apartment $550-650, 2 bdrm $650-800, and that is per month, Brantford has access to the 403 a direct route from Toronto and connects with the 401 in Woodstock to London.

We are fairly Anglo city, but do have some cultural diversity, and lots of shops and places to enjoy your time off, and fro a family person, good schools and a wide range of religous situations, places like Hamilton and Kitchener-Waterloo are larger and some what nicer, but are much more expensive in the long run than Brantford.

I will give the citys website for a good look at the community at large.
