  1. I lived in Mallorca for thirteen years and really love Porto Pollensa.  I would suggest also hiring a car and touring the whole island but Formentor and La Victoria are both close to Porto Pollensa as is Aucanada which is very pretty.  Have a wonderful time ... Mallorca is known as the Magic Island and not without reason.

  2. Awwww I'm just back a week, it's a lovely resort!! There are boat tours with a glass bottom boat that take you to the beach @ Formentor and Cala San Vicente. Cap de Formentor is a beautiful spot up the mountains and the views are spectacular.....a must see, trust me! But you would need to hire a car OR there is an excursion company called 'No Frills Excursions' they are really cheap and offer great trips! Just strolling through the streets of Port de Pollensa is beautiful and you must try the restaurant L'Olivera (near LuvJuice) and Sali Oli (bar, grill, tapas)! We went banana boating, you just go to the beach, cough up like E15 and you are off, actually brilliant! You can also go paragliding and go on the donuts (round inflatable things, pulled by a speed boat), oooohhh you must visit the old town of Alcudia, only about 10 mins drive from P.P, beautiful! Palma is only about 45mins away and is a must see!! Mind Antonio, the g*y waiter in the Imperial Pub!!

  3. Puerto Pollensa is VERY quiet and I dont think there is much to see.

If I remember rightly it is an old fishing village, with a couple of Hotels scattered around?!?!?!?

If your thinking of Holidaying there I wouldnt bother - Try Cala D'or!!!

  4. Pollensa beach is beautiful. Check out my panoramic image of it here: http://www.360travelguide.com/360Virtual...

  5. Hire a car and explore the island.

There is a place of interest. there is a cheap 'menu del dia' reataurant that does real chips!

    Nice beach. Hire a boat.

  6. Puorto Pollensa is very small and mainly for a very relaxing holiday but the next place along the coast is Alcudia and it is fantastic for all age groups but mainly families.
