Tohoshinki's 'どうして君を好きになってしまったんだろう？' was at the top of the Oricon charts last week (or the one before).

The romanized title is 'Doushite Kimi Wo Suki Ni Shimattandarou?' or 'Why did I have to fall in love with you?'

It's a mid tempo song with sad lyrics about a guy who loves his friend, but she slips through his fingers because he waits too long to tell her.  The music video is very pretty, and shows the plot of the song without having to look up the lyrics.

The Oricon charts are the Japanese billboard charts, basically. but they also recently started using the billboard system as well as the Oricon charts. The Japanese have rankings everyday for singles, albums, and foreign music (Western mostly). They also have like, top 100, 10, etc.

I don't know it's a slow one but "One Love" by Arashi would be great.

Arashi (嵐) is one of Japanese popular groups and most of their songs are nice because of the lyrics. They're releasing their new single next week,which are also good.

And they can check Japan's Top 10 at Oricon.
