What are some possibilities for a job working animals?

I am looking for job possibilities working with animals. I want to get a degree so being a dog walker isn't an answer I am looking for. If you could give me a couple of ideas. I have been looking into marine biology because I love fish and ocean life but zoology looks interesting too.

  1. Maybe an oceanographer or someone who works in an aquarium or zoo studying a nurturing the animals. And of course, there's always a veterinarian.

  2. I would recommend starting out with a good solid foundation of science basics - biology, chemistry, stats/calc....etc.  Until you have more of an idea of the exact area/s in which you wish to major in, I recommend keeping your options open.  I started off with the basics, moved into environmental science and then majored in marine ecology for subsequent degrees.

I also recommend doing some work experience, e.g. local zoo, aquarium, research institutes.  Plus it can be a foot in the door with potential future employers!

    Best wishes for your future!

  3. RSPC-whatever country you live in

There are alot of oppertunities and prosacuting animal cruetly cases, and rehabilitating, half of the work has to do with the force

Scientificly speaking, i think zoology would be a good idea

  4. Humane society & veterinarian.
