I like either of these two -

    Beauty (Point) - Tasmania

    Taree - New South Wales

(proununced "tar" - as in tar-mac and "ree" - as in re-port.)

Some female names of places in Australia -

    Clare - South Australia

    Adelaide - South Australia

    Elizabeth - South Australia

    Katherine - Northern Territory

    Floraville - New South Wales

    Kendall - New South Wales

    Leigh Creek - South Australia

  12. Bullamakanka

But an Australian cattle dog should be named Blue or Bluey, particularly if it is red.  Trust me on this.

I have just discovered that an Australian Shepherd has bugger nothing to do with Australia.
