  1. Could you be a little more specific on what types of problems?

    Okay, I'll try and give you some, though I'm really not sure of what you're after.

    Grain prices plummeting. This is worsened with the fact that (at least where I'm from in Manitoba) we haven't been getting enough rain to yield a good crop. This then leads to family problems. Family are going bankrupt; or at the very least, the added stress could contribute to marriage problems, health problems, increase in divorce, etc.

    The second, provinces like Saskatchewan and Manitoba are losing skilled workers to the bigger provinces like Alberta. Take for example, the oil industry. Students are going straight out of high school to work on the oil rigs, because the money is so good.

    This emigration of skilled workers causes even more problems. Other professions, like doctors and nurses are leaving too, because of high wages and incentives elsewhere. (Guaranteed, I do know this is really a problem that affects all provinces.)
