  1. if you are old enough you can be a camp counselor.

I went to Y camp every summer until I was old enough to get a job.  At camp I worked in the kitchen and that helped pay my way.

Our animal shelter is always looking for people to walk the dogs and play with the cats and clean out cages, bowls....etc.

And don't forget to check with the parks and recreation dept....they are hiring teens for summer jobs in my town.

If you are good in math and or reading you can also tutor some children needing help in that area.....

Summer is very short and you will be back in school before you know it so make good use of your time off....

  2. go to the library. join their reading program, win a prize. volunteer your time at a school to help for summer school. teach someone to read or to read better, volunteer at hospital , or nursing home.  older  people love to talk to youg people . get them to tell you about their lives when they were young. tape it or document what they tell you. makr a scrapbook, a documentary, a tape. you will also make new friends

  3. Look up homeless shelters in your area.  You can also check to see if you have a Ronald McDonald house near by.  You can volunteer once a week at one of these places.  Besides helping someone, it looks good on your college applications.  How about cooking classes too?

  4. omg i love to go bowling with my friends!!! we also go mini golfing nd it was sooo much funn w/ reatrted friends hehe!!!

    anything w/ friends is awesome

we also just like to walk around and talk!!

  5. i was thinking of that myself, well what i did was i made a goal for the summer

it started on the 15 june and it ends on the 15 september

it goes like this, whatever i do or go to that is interesting enough i would take pictures, then print them out and then make a huge scrapbooking album out of that,so that would make me do fun stuff so that i could impress everyone with the album in the end.Now for the things that you can do,you can just hang around with your friends at like your house, the cinema, the mall and stuff. Then you can take up a new hobby.I know sounds cliche, but it works.I am into crafting right now and i am planning on knitting some stuff during the summer, and making cards and gifts for people.I like surfing the net too,and some of the things you can search are the different ways you can occupy yourself ;) I think that joining a group would be fun too, like the local gym,you could meet new friends or go there with your friends. You stay healthy and it's fun too.You could plan an outing as well and maybe get to those things you kept on procrastinating with during the school year ;)

good luck with that and i hope boredom won't take over ♥
