What are some quotes that show Romeo is Sensetive and Gentle, in the book by William Shakespear?

I've read the book i'm just having trouble finding some good quotes that represent these aspects.

  1. You probably ought to read it.  Even if you only read the scenes with Romeo in them you'll find what you're looking for.

    By the way.  Romeo and Juliet is a play, not a book.  In Shakespeare's time the only complete script was in the hands of the prompter, and the theatre company didn't publish the play because that would have kept people from coming to see it.


  2. I don't have the book right now but I think the famous scene where he's admiring Juliet from the balcony shows how sensitive he is. He says : "...See how she leans her cheek upon her hand/ O that I were that glove upon that hand/ That I might touch that cheek." (Sorry this from memory and I haven't read the book in three years. And I didn't analyze it for school...I only read it for pleasure.)
