I want to be wiser next time I shop and get clothing made of something that won't require ironing (won't look wrinkly went left to air-dry).

Is cotton one?

Help! ?

  1. Cotton requires ironing, any fabric that contains polyester is wash and wear .

  2. Many cotton clothes are now mixed with spandex (makes it strechy and won't wrinkle).  The more spandex in a garment, the less ironing it requires.  I have shirts that are 5% spandex and 95% cotton that I never have to iron-and they dry very quickly.
