Ah don't worry. My bunny shed so much we managed to fill up two McDonalds large cups with fur and she had a few bald spots. Just brush yours out often. My other bunny only shed a little bit, not even enough to fuss about. To answer your question, rabbits grow in different climates and some need more fur than others. The mini rex fur sheds the least. It has a mutation that makes the fur fuzzy. My bunny that was shedding is now fine.
