What are some really amazing places to check out in Windsor, ON?

Anything I can do there but not in the states? Ive traveled through but not really stayed. Also, can I get absinthe there and bring it back over? Thanks!

I live in Windsor, Ontario, and I know certain bars in the city serve absinthe, but as far as taking it back across the border, don't know.

The duty-free store at the border crossing would be able to help you with that.  If they stock it, obviously it is legal to import it (but I kind of doubt it if it is not sold in the States)

Also, you're not giving your age but if you're just 19 (or over), you can legally gamble and drink here.  We have a huge casino in Windsor (Caesars Windsor).  Also, a racetrack.  Any large sums of money you may win here (slot jackpot, huge lottery, etc.) are tax-free - you just have to get the money back home (you're allowed to cross back with $9,999.00 at a time).  We pay no tax here on winnings.  I could win a million in the lottery tomorrow, and it is all tax-free.

Also, the strip clubs here (Cheetahs, Jasons, Silver Dollar Saloon...all right downtown) are very liberal as opposed to what's offered in the States, I hear.  Lots of girls from Quebec....ooohh..la..la.
