What are some really cool old and affordable car models?

Question

I can't afford a car that costs more than £1500, but I see no reason why it can't still be stylish and quirky.

So far I like Saab 900 convertibles and old London black cabs.

Anyone else got good ideas? Preferably with links to pictures?

Get a Triumph 2000 or 2500.

They are great cars to drive and easy to service at home.

you should be able to get a nice toyota MR2, look good, sporty and under budget

I have seen some older MX-5s for sale, great cars them

You should also be able to bag your self a 3 series coupe.

However i love the mr2 so would go for that but it is your choice 3 good cars

Go and get yourself a PRACTICAL CLASSIC magazine. Tesco sell them, they are full of inspiration and have a classifieds section at the back.
