Question:

What are some really fun, aerobic workouts that a no-so-motivated teen can do daily?

I've no problem, but when it comes to jogging or even walking without a purpose (such as walking to school or walking to the store), I just feel so embarassed and end up not working out at all. And good exercises that I could do? Also, any weight training too? And please tell me how the exercises can help me and what's the most effective.

Here are activities that I like to do, but rarely do:

bike-riding

skating (in-line)

jump roping

jogging

walking to the store

Please help me...I need more ideas so that I can start a fun and exciting exercise plan

    swimming laps

    power walking

    jumping jacks

    push ups

    crunches

    side and front lunges

    stretches


  2. I have a hard time getting motivated too. For weight training, and get two 5 pound weights, and I lie on the floor with my arms spread, then I brig them up to over my face and back down again(without dropping them on my face).

    All the things you listed are good!  They are all aerobic exercise as well.

    Another type of exercise that a blast AND is cardiovascular (aerobic), strength AND flexibility improving all in one is mini trampoline exercise.  

    It works in all these ways because every cell of your body gets "exercised" by the resistance of jumping up and down basically.
