I find it so funny that most ghost stories are related to that time era.. I wonder why? There were people before the 1800"s I guess there are some Indian stories.. but I have never heard of anyone ever seeing a caveman..we know they were here..if not right here in the U.S. they were somewhere.. so why don't they ever haunt?

One of my favorite stories is about a couple who were of different faiths who decided to run away together and their horse and buggy turned over and killed them both and its said you can see them together riding the same road at full speed passing a cemetery in Chicago ... which btw.. they aren't buried in. And Butler Cemetery,, I love the stories from that place too.. I don't know why I am stuck in Chicago this morning I live in Michigan .. but for some good stories just key word true ghost stories from the 1800"s and you'll get plenty.

I'm sorry, but you can't have a story that is both true and about a ghost.  One or the other.
