I like D'addario, the guy on the next message may like Ernie Ball, and the one way below may like Takamine, or Fender. It depends on the sound you want to get, dark, bright. If you don't know exactly what you want, you need experience, trying things out. Best thing you can do is just try different strings, and by the 3rd time you change your strings, you will have a background to hold on to. Best of luck with your guitar.

I use D'Addario strings exclusively on all my guitars, both Classical and Acoustic.  The only difference between practice settings and concert settings is, the weight of the strings I use for whatever it is I'm doing.. but they are STILL D'Addario strings.
