What are some really good teen books for girls? ?

right now im really into romantic storys. ive read all the twilight books and thought they were the best! xD but now i want something else just as passionate and good. any ideas?

please answer. i really need something to read.

Anna Karenina.

It is 19th century literature.

INCREDIBLE book.

It is really good. It is a big book and it takes time.

There is romance in it! omg it is great.

And depending on your age... people get impressed when they know youve read it!

The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot (and the rest of the series) isn't as passionate as Twilight, but it's funny and very good.

You should try The Frog Princess series. also there is The Inheritance Trilogy (oops I mean "cycle"). The first book, Eragon, isn't o much full of romance but it builds up in the second book, Eldest.

And pretty much always, I recommend Harry Potter. It has basically everything in it. Romance, action, fantasy, character development, not to mention SO much more.

You should definately read Sarah Dessen's novels, then.

A series I love, In Or Out by Claudia Gabel, is amazing, and it has some romance in it.  I really like the books, they're easy to relate to.

You've probably read The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.  It's not focused on romance, I guess, but it does come across pretty often.

Hmmm....oh anything by Janette Rallison makes for a fun, short, romantic read.

Oooh what about Gossip Girl?

Now as for some other teen girl's books, definately check out Poseur by Rachel Maude.  It hasn't gotten very popular yet, but it's hilarious and extremely well-written!  Also, you should read The Clique by Lisi Harrison.  Even though the characters are young, they act way older than they are.  Secrets Of My Hollywood Life by Jen Calonita is the start of a great and entertaining series.  I also love the book You Don't Know Me by David Klass.  It's definately one of the more deep ones.  

If you like Twilight, maybe you'd like Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz.  Ummm....let's see my friend Sam likes Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli.  In fact all his books are good, but you may have read them as a kid.  You could try Pretty Little Liars - here's an online preview =]

"This Lullaby" and "Just Listening" by Sarah Dessen are a good read. I'm a teenager and a romance fanatic, so I loved these books =)

This Lullaby is about a young girl named Remy who dates guys, and then breaks up with them a few weeks/months later before she gets too attached. The reason for it is because she sees her mother do it all the time through so many marriages and then divorces, so to her it's normal. However, she later meets a guy named Dexter who gets on her nerves because he's so goofy/funny/annoying.. etc. But she can't seem to get rid of him like she did with the others.

It's an excellent read =)

As for Just Listening.. it's also an excellent teen romance book about a girl and a guy who is kind of quiet, really into music, constantly listens to his ipod. I haven't read it in awhile so I can't entirely remember exactly what it's about. But it was really enjoyable. I recommend both =)

You will not be able to put them down!!!!

They're very passionate reads with lots of twists, romance and tradgedy and resolve in almost happy endings.

I like Maximum Ride series by James Patterson. They're a lot of action, but there is romance in the second, third and fourth book. But my favorite romance story is A Great And Terrible Beauty series by Libba Bray. It's a bit paranormal, but the romance is GREAT!

I know the perfect book for you. It is called 'Beach Blondes' by Katherine Applegate. It sounds ridiculously stupid, but when you read it, you are sucked into a teenage soap opera. It is A M A Z i N G.

You fall in love with the characters, you cry at the stupid moves they make, and you fall off the bed laughing at the randomly funny remarks.

It is about a girl that goes to Florida on vacation for the summer. She is very average. She isn't gorgeous, she doesn't get a lot of guys, and she isn't popular. But her summer changes after finding true love in Florida. She befriends her cousin, and has to choose between three guys. After that summer, she always gets guys, she is tan and pretty and gets very popular.

The second book in the series is called 'Tan Lines'. It is equally amazing and you MUST READ IT. I am in LOVE with it.

Well have you tried the Gossip Girl series. Its not that romantic but is one of the best series i have ever read. i cant really think of any romance storys of the top of my head but what about My sisters Keeper by Jodi Picoult. Omg i loved this book! it made me cry! Its an awesome read! Try this website it was specially designed with books for teens girls in mind! good luck and happy reading!

well my mind got flooded with wonderful books but then you siad. romance so it all dropped. um. you should read the sweet valley high series. its like degrassi in a book. and then read the other books by that author i cnat remember her name but shes good. just dont read her fearless books.

I agree with Kelly, the Maximum Ride books are pretty good. If you're into an somewhat mild-action book with bits of romance thrown in, they're probably a good choice.
