What are some really good ways to make and raise money?

Hi i am trying to raise money for 2 things

*nintendo ds lite $130.00

*Going to washington dc $2000.00

I have a fundraiser for dc but wondering if there are any really good ways out there.

For DS i have to just raise money by babysitting washing cars etc. but i haven't gotten any good idea's.

I've thought of babysitting, weeds, car wash, yard sale, extra chores, lemonade stands. But i am looking for some really good idea's of how to make money fast.

If you're looking for a great fund raiser try to sell water softener salt door to door.  Everybody needs it and they feel like if they buy it from you it is for a good cause.  And if you deliver it directly to their house they don't have to carry it.
