On friday a couple of my girl friends and I are having a scary movie night at my place, and I'd like some suggestions on what to rent. The grudge scares the c**p out of me, and I love to jump. I also love suspense.

  1. Okay, these aren't scary, but my sister and I loved watching all three Brendan Fraser mummy movies in a row.  I thought I Am Legend was pretty scary.  Those Saw movies are kind of graphic, but I also found myself scared.  I'm sure there are tons more they just aren't coming to me right now!  The old Halloween movies are fun.  The Evil Dead movies, the exorcist, pet cemetery.  When I was young I thought "Whan a stranger calls" was the scariest movie I had ever seen, and there is a remake which is pretty good, as well.  Sounds like my kind of party, have fun!

You might want to stick with the Thriller or Suspense category rather than Horror.

  28. I can't stand scary movies and I'm always the one ending up watching the scariest movies of them all. Don't ask e why.

The ones I've seen have been:

"IT" it's about a clown, it's made by Stephen King, 'nuff said.

"Vacancy" it's more of a thriller, but it keeps you hanging on like crazy and it's soo creepy. It makes your palms sweat. Also another Stephen King

"1408" Another Stephen King. It wasn't as scary as the others, but this was still pretty creepy if you're like in a hotel room as such, but whatev.

"The Omen" And there's not only one Omen movie, but there are like 7 and I was forced to watch all of them. Whatever you do, DON'T buy the new version with Julia Stiles. Trust me, it's nothing compared to the originals. They were old, the originals and they were so fricken scary it made me not sleep at all.. It was really the scariest movies I've ever seen, but whatever you do, again.. the new version isn't half as scary.

"The Exorcist" the original? hah that's really creepy.

"Phsyco" I saw the movie, it was pretty suspenseful.

Hah okay, basically those are the scariest movies I've seen. I never watch scary movies but yea.. I stay away and I tend to kind of watch the scariest movies because my cousins force me too.

If you're having a party like this, then I'd suggest Final Destination cause they're like for teenagers and it's pretty modern. Nothing that scary, but still interesting.

    Have fun!
