What are some restaurants in Kansas City that serve vegan cuisine?

I have a friend coming through town in less than a week & I'll be taking her out to dinner. My friend is a vegan & I have no clue where to take her? Any advice?

If all fails, find an Indian (not American Indian but east) and call them. Ask for the location of a vegetarian since MANY hindus are vegetarians.

Also, Seventh Day Adventists have a great number of vegetarians in this Christain religion that broke from Baptists in the early 1800s. Call a church and ask.
