My boyfriend and are I going to be in Paris for two days. I've been there before, but he hasn't. We're of course going to the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, but we are looking for some more things to do. We are college students so we don't have a lot of money to spend. I was thinking a boat tour on the Seine River would be romantic, but I'm not sure if I can just buy tickets there or if I need to buy them in advance. Where is a good place to go shopping and some good places to go out at night? Also what are some fun or romantic things we can do other than museums and monuments since I've already seen a lot of those?

  1. There are several companies that run boat tours on the Seine. Some leave from the Quai in front of the Eiffel tower. There's another company that leaves from the Quai on the Ile de la cite by the Pont Neuf. There website is here: http://www.vedettesdupontneuf.com/ You can buy tickets online for a discount.

There's a lot of night time entertainment in Paris and what to do to depends on your tastes. My favorite hangout is Aux Trois Mailletz which is a club with a piano and singers on the ground floor and a night club in the basement. Its at 56 rue Galand in the 5th.

For your basic drink beer, shoot pool and hangout place try the Pub St. Hiliare at 2 rue Valette

If you like karaoke try the Pub Saint-Michel at 19, quai Saint-Michel

For dancing try the Georges Café at 4, rue de la Huchette

  2. Another fun romantic place to go visit is Montmartre. It is in the 18th arrodissement and it is absolutely beautiful! It is my favorite place in Paris. You have a beautiful view and a lot of people bring their guitars and such and play music. You can go into the Basilica Sacre Coeur. It is also near Moulin Rouge and you can just walk from one to the other.

As for night, my favorite thing to do is just walk! It's absolutely beautiful and it's free!

    Good luck

  4. Walk along the Seine, to Nôtre Dame, and then into the Quartier Latin and the gardens.  Lots of little cafés along the way, and I'm pretty sure there are little shops to poke in.   You'll have so much fun!

I'm pretty sure you can get the boat tickets online, but I wouldn't know where to get them.

  5. A walk along the Seine at dusk is pretty romantic.

A walk in Montmartre can be nice too. And there's the Buttes Chaumont park.

If you don't have a lot of money don't depense any. Walking in Paris is free and very nice.

  6. The  day boat cruise is not romantic, a walk is.

The dinner cruise is incredibly romantic, but pricey, 95 - 125 Euros per person.  You only live once.  Do it.  Boat cruise, music, dinner, sights, seeexxx after
