  1. It is more of a fun place than a romantic place.

  2. If you go to DCA, do some wine tasting in Napa Valley.  Or eat at the Napa Rose (very pricey about $75 per person).  Schedule a double spa treatment at the Grand CA'n. Watch the fireworks show while sipping hot cocoa and sharing a dessert at the Plaza Inn.  Get a cut-out picture of the two of you at the Silhouette Studio on Main St. or get Caricatures in New Orleans.

  3. There aren’t a whole lot of breath-taking romantic vistas or intimate dining spots other than the Blue Bayou which you already mentioned.  It is more about silly traditions and spending time with each other.  Here are some things that we like to do when I go with my husband.

We like Snow White's grotto. It is just a sweet little, semi-quiet spot to the right of the castle with a wishing well.  Go in the evening at dusk, drop in pennies and make a wish, seal it with a kiss.

Get a table or bench outside Carnation Plaza Inn at the circle on main street to watch the fireworks.  When the lights are dim you can hold hands, snuggle, kiss.

On Main Street, about 2/3 the way down, on the right, there is a little alcove with a bench. If you get there about an hour or so before the parade, it's an excellent spot from which to watch the parade.  Buy ice cream cones at the ice cream shop across the street and sit together, talk hold, hands.

The most secluded makeout spot is in critter country right in front of Splash mountain next to the water. It is next the a small store which hides the bench and other people watching you.  There is a little cove with a small bench that’s very private.  Other than that, go to Tom Sawyer’s Island and make out in the Indian Caves.

Ride the streetcars and other vehicles on Main Street.  It is more about being with each other than a super fast daring roller coaster.  Also, ask to ride in the front of the monorail.

Go to the French Market Restaurant when there is live jazz playing. Buy a "mint julep" (non alcoholic), relax and watch the show.

In the Penny Arcade on Main Street, there is Esmeralda, a coin operated fortune teller.  We always do that at the end of the day and then interpret our fortunes and say how wise she is.

  4. Have a drink at the top floor of the Disneyland Hotel..
