So I need to plant some pine trees and I need some information such as when you should plant them season-wise and also how far apart they need to be planted. Any information and references are welcome. Thanks.

  1. DON'T PLANT THEM TOO CLOSE TOGETHER!

  2. Depends what kind of pine, but whatever do not plant them close together. Go look in the forest to see what happens when they are planted too close. They will eventually grow huge so give them room.  If you are planting trees, just dig a hole, put in some water, some good potting soil plunk the tree in and fill around it with soil. then water it. I am sure your local county extension office can provide you with details. Pine trees take root by themselves. I have all kinds of little trees just popping up  around the lawn, and they take no care, really. We keep pulling them up because we don't want anymore.
