when i run, even a little, i notice that i get out of breath right away to the point where i cant breathe no more, and my face gets bright red. and everyone always asking me if i'm ok.

i have noticed that i am the only one like this. all the other people around me are just fine. they might get out of breath a little, but they are perfectly fine.

i do color guard in a band, and there is a lot of running involved. especialy at practices.

what techniques can i use? or is there any tips you guys share with me? please, i would really appreciate it.

  1. When you get tired, most inexperienced runners think that they are not getting enough air, the truth is you're not blowing out enough air.  What I use is a 4 count, every-time my left foot hits the ground count 1-2-3-4, and exhale while saying every number, blow out the air, it will help control your breathing and get you into a rhythm, hope this helps...

  2. listen to your breathing if it sounds to fast take slower deeper breaths and then if you are not doing a proper race just stop for a second or two but if your doing short distance hold your breath for as long as you can but don't kill your self just let it out when you need to. I never do this but in PE i listen to what the teacher is saying and what i have said now i got from PE
