  1. oooh not sure about the 7 yr old (maybe Nickelodeon, Disney Channel) but the 10 yr old should check out girlsense.com (great, appropriate site if she likes clothes and fashion) and maybe neopets( you can sign off on the chat boards), and for both i would say Barbie.com and affiliated sites. good luck, i am sure there are tons more

  2. They don't NEED websites, they NEED to go outside and play.

  3. I know the best sight go to www.nickjr.com my little niece goes on that and she stays for hours, she can listen to all the music from the shows play games, color and you can even print out some of the pages the kids draw. It's actually a pretty cool kids sight.

  4. neopets.com

    webkinz.com

There's a game called club penguin.

All of these websites are made for kids. They are mainly about caring for pets, etc. They teach your kids responsibility, and also maybe some money skills in neopets (because you get neopoints and you have to feed your pet with them).

Hope this helps and hope your daughters have fun with the websites!

  5. http://www.kidscom.com/ -  any chatting done is monitored.

http://www.nickjr.com - to watch, listen and play games!

http://www.disneychannel.com - the home of disney.

    http://nyack.lib.ny.us/childrens_sites.h... - list of websites

http://www.clubpenguin.com - a gaming website where you children have access to chat to anyone. not ideal but lots of fun.

http://www.familyfriendly.org.uk/extras/ - this website isn't a website for you child. it has many different links for homework, parenting and health issues! just thought it is a useful link you may like to know!

    Hope I Helped!

  6. My kids like to go on http://www.webkinz.com . You have to buy a Webkin for around $15 and then enter the code online. They can take care of their pet and talk to other kids. It is safer than most sites because they can only enter some premade sentences. Other sites are not as restricted so there is a chance that the kids will give out personal information that they should not.

I made a website that has kids crafts, hobbies, cooking, jewelry making, and science experiments. I have three girls so it is more stuff for girls. If you are interested in checking it out...

    http://www.yourfunfamily.com

  7. Disneychannel.com!

  8. WeeWorld (both will like it) we allow our 6 and 9 year old on this site but still monitor it fairly carefully as it one that they can talk to other people on.

Try Barbie.com they would probably like that one too.

Polly Pocket has a good site for young girls.

  9. starfall.com is an excellent educational tool that I use in the classroom and my kids enjoy it

  10. thekidzpage.com

    pbskids.org

    scholastic.com/kids

    kids.nationalgeographic.com

    kidsites.com

  11. www.clubpenguin.com is a great website for children of all ages-mainly the young ones. Here is some information about club penguin:

Club Penguin is an online game developed by New Horizon Interactive which was bought by the Disney company. Using cartoon penguin avatars, players can waddle around, chat, play minigames, and participate in other activities with one another in a snow-covered virtual world.[1] After beta-testing, Club Penguin was made available to the general public on October 24, 2005[2] and has since expanded into a large online community.

Club Penguin shares similarities with other popular online environments like Habbo Hotel. Though open to users of all ages like Virtual Magic Kingdom, another Disney-owned online community, Club Penguin is primarily designed for children ages six to fourteen[3] and has qualified for the Better Business Bureau - Kid's Privacy Seal of Approval.[4] Club Penguin was also awarded the "Editors Choice" award from Children's Technology Review Magazine.[5]

  12. Club Penguin

    Google it :D

Safe, Filters, and fun for younger kids.

  13. Check out the Beacon Street Girls website -- all kinds of games, activities, contests and, if you join the free online club (totally safe), you can post messages (reviewed by monitors before they are posted), get and give advice from girls all over the world. Plus the Beacon Street Girls reply to messages too -- the characters from the Beacon Street Girls book series.

I love the MovieMaker and the fashion design games too.
