my daughters 10 and she goes on the sites:

Those are the ONLY sites Michelle(my daughter)visits-the rest have a password.If she discovers a new site from somewhere i check it then remove the password..Its really dangerous letting them use the internet without knowing what they're up to..They're only kids after all..When they're teens(I have a 14 year old daughter too) you can let them visit sites like

anything they want because they can be trusted at that age and thats when they need to know elderly things

I don't know any good suggestions, but you should block youtube. There is a lot of dirty c**p on that site, and it is way too easy to find. I can't search for "elmo" without finding p**n.

You might want to also check out Club BSG on the Beacon Street Girls website. You'll love -- it is set up just like middle school -- you get a locker to decorate, join the after school clubs and teams and make new friends.

Go to the site and click on the pink "Club BSG" or the locker to find the club. Plus the Beacon Street Girls friend you and you can friend other people too. It's a lot like Facebook but it is safe and just p*****n girls are there. Plus you can leave messages on your friends' whiteboards.

They have new stuff all the time -- they have lots of good discussions on things like clothes, friends, school and stuff.
