  1. The scene in The Exorcist in which Reagan climbs the stairs backwards (upside down) like a spider gave me a chill when I first saw it.  That movie still bothers me to this day.

  2. The scene in Titanic when they are standing at the end of the ship holding their hands up together. Or the car scene. If you don't know what I'm talking about then watch the movie because it's really good! =]

  3. The scene from the original "When a Stranger Calls" with Carol Kane.

She's baby sitting and this crank keeps calling and saying in a weird voice, "Have you checked the children?"

Finally after calling over and over, she has enough and calls the police station to report it. The crank calls one more time and then hangs up.

The phone rings again and she picks it up and screams, "LEAVE ME ALONE!" and the voice on the other end is the police department saying that they have just traced the calls and "the calls are coming from somewhere in that house. Get out of the house!"

And as the police are telling her this the door to one of the upstairs bedrooms starts to creak open.

  4. in the movie "They Nest," these cochroaches are taking over the island by using the humans as a source to lay eggs... this one scene in particular, a cop shows up at this house, and no one's home, so of course, he goes in and looks around. When he gets to the basement, he thinks he sees something, then turns to leave. He looks around again, and sees cochroaches swarming him. When he's laying on the floor, the cochroaches part, and this huge queen roach comes up his body, and then down his mouth to plant eggs. She was bigger than the guys fist! It was absolutely gross...

  5. In the Japanese movie

    Audition

the lead woman drugs the man

cuts his foot off, ankle high, with piano wire

    sticks needles in his eyes

in other scene, may have been just a hallucinating, but chilling none the less,

It first starts by showing the women throwing up in a dish

a different man is released by the women from a big canvas sack, missing fingers, eyes messed up, and toungue cut, he crawls out of the bag eats the throw up

    great movie

  6. Three scenes in movies that I have seen make me cringe just thinking of them -

What's Love Got to Do With It - scene in which Tina Turner is raped by Ike Turner in the recording studio.

The Accused - Jodie Foster is attacked in a bar by a bunch of drunks.

but the most heavy scene ever is the Russian Roulette scene in The Deer Hunter.  I defy anyone to watch that and not be uncomfortable.

  7. right now the one i can think of is in the notebook

both when they kiss in the rain

and in the end when they die together :[

of course i am normally bawling my eyes out at the same time but i think it still counts :]

  8. Braveheart! When Little William is at his dad's funeral and Little Murron gives him the flower! So sad!!! I cry everytimer!

  9. In hellraiser 2 when that mental patient is cutting his chest and arms with a razor blade because he thinks maggots are on him.
