  1. Hydrophobia - a fear of drinking water. If your dog refuses to drink, or when it does drink, spits it back up again, beware. It should not yet be dangerous, but act fast - ring up the local vet and do not allow the dog to be in contact with anything else for the moment

  2. Suggest if you are thinking rabies, you need to be seeing vet .... you might check Google, or whatever for symptoms, but do that second!!  Hope you are wrong!

  3. If your dog has rabies would it be foaming at the mouth? It'd also be sick right? Dunno

  4. Signs of rabies in dogs are..

becoming increasingly savage and making unpredictable attacks on humans and animals

The facial expressions change, the eyes stare and the jaw becomes fixed and paralysed

    drooling excessive amounts of saliva

    hiding from light

They may develop difficulty in swallowing, but don't go into spasms at the sight of water like humans, so the term "hydrophobia" doesn't apply to dogs.

If you suspect a dog has rabies, you should avoid touching it, put it in a room by itself and inform the vets or the police.

Any other animals that may have come into contact with an infected dog would have to be quarantined for 6 months.

  5. not wanting to eat or drink

    wanting to be left alone

    aggression

    foaming at the mouth

    seizures

    paralysis

This disease attacks the nervous system.
