What are some signs of immortality in a mortal world?

this is for reflection and i need help and other people's opinion. :)

legends and stories and fairytales.  Pyramids and ziggurets and temples.  Buddha and Vashni and God.

We can acheive immortality through writing and thought. Even when we die a part of us lives on and touches those who we have never met.

The author Primo Levi is immortal to me through his words and thoughts, and even though he has been dead for many years he can still conjure emotions in me that few can.
