What are some signs of spoiled dairy and meat?

I'm not talking about the expiration/sell by date on the package the food was sold in. I'm referring to if there are any signs of the food item having spoiled from having been sitting out for too long without being refrigerated. When I ask I'm also not referring to just something like buffets or salad bars...I'm also thinking of if something was left out too long and it goes bad, then someone put it back in the refrigerator or freezer, anyway.

if you leave things in the freezer than they should last a pretty long time like meat and other freezable things but milk if it is left out all night or left out on a hot day it gets bad or if you dont s***w on the lid right it will stink and taste nasty and smell worse .

it will usually have an off smell to it, or not have the same taste as it did before it went bad.  Dont leave perishables out for more than 2 hours because that's is enough time for bacteria to grow on it.

Milk will smell sour or will have lumps. Even a slight sour smell means that you should throw it away- food poisoning from spoiled milk is really unpleasant.

Meat will look graying or greenish, and it will have a very nasty smell even if it's just a bit past its prime.  They don't use the term " smells like rotting flesh" for nothing.

milk will smell sour. Meat (when thawed) has a distinct "bad" smell. You will recognize it when you smell it. Also its not usually a good sign if its slimey. Beef can take on a greenish hue. But mostly, if you're not sure, just throw it out. Why risk serious food poisoning if you aren't sure?
