  1. OK well first off the poems explain an annual event of taking something from nature for their own pleasure and putting it in a container, for Death it was jampots and for Black it was milk cans, pea tins, jam-pots.  They both also mention rain and sun.  At the end the stolen goods were either spoiled or revengeful.  The differences are few; in Death it focused on the surroundings and what was happening to it because of nature.  In Black they focused more on the berries and describing them.  In Death the tadpoles were meant as entertainment and in Black the berries were meant as delicious food.  Another difference is that in Death they specifically mention another person, Miss Walls, but in Black the only other mention of anyone else involved is 'our'.

    Hope this helps!!
