Question:

What are some simple but cute hairstyles?

I have really long, thick dark brown hair. I take a shower each morning so when my hair is wet, I just stick it in a ponytail or a half ponytail. I've been doing that for years now and I need some new things to do with it. Something easy to do though.. I don't have much time to get ready in the morning. Any tips?

  1. This would be cute, http://www.aolcdn.com/red_galleries/tatt...

take a shower the night before and if your hair is not already straight, then straighten it.

  2. instead of throwing it up in a pony, towel dry it a little bit so its still like wet but not soaked, then scrunch it.  a good scrunching gel is pantene scrunching gel it works really good for thick hair cuz i have long thick hair too.  just put some in your hands, flip your hair upside down, and scrunch. then flip it back up and scrunch the top

  3. It depends on your age and face shape really, but if you want to go for a stylish cut that will give you a whole new look, I would go for a fringe/bangs. Think Anne Hathaway in The Devil Wears Prada. Also, is your hair straight or curly? You should try wearing it down occasionally.

Thanks for the extra details. I would go to a hairdresser and ask for a good frizz-taming serum. That way you can wear your hair down. If you still think your hair is too wild to just have down, why not try new ways of putting it up? Pigtails, braids, and messy buns all look cool. Also, try hair accessories. Alice bands/headbands have the dual purpose of taming your hair and looking cute. Quirky hair clips and ties can also make your hair look more interesting.
