Most of my friends are around 20, I'm having a bunch of people over at my house on Friday. So obviously it will be a bunch of drunk young adults running around so I'm not talking about full on dishes or anything. What are some inexpensive, party foods I can set out for them to eat?

  1. Finger sandwiches and cookies could work, too.

Pizza, too... You could get smaller pizzas... You don't really need plates for those either, at least napkins. I know WalMart usually have super cheap pizzas that you can just cook at home.

  2. any type of chips.

    puppy chow.

    popcorn

you could have an ice cream bar.

    crackers like cheese nips.

    brownies.

    dry cereal

    juice boxes or soda.

  3. slice up a pizza in little squares, Chips n Queso, watermelon (if your outside), chex mix, grapes, lil smokies sausages with a tooth pick in them, oh, and those lil wraps with cream cheese and ham or turkey with a toothpick...

  4. torilla pizzas- toast tortillas quickly in the oven or a pan, teaspoon spaghetti sauce, add cheese, cook for 5 minutes. can be made in advance and heated up.

Chips and salsa, popcorn, crackers, veggie platter, meat platter, cheese platter

  5. I would not seriously suggest this, but I grew up in New Mexico and whenever I went to a birthday party as a kid there were always these awful little finger sandwiches. They would take processed American cheese and bologna and chop them up then mix them with mayo, then they would plop the mixture on the cheapest white bread they could find and then quarter it. This was the most disgusting sandwich that I ever had and I just had to get it off my chest. Now back to your little party, you could buy one of those six foot subs, and pizza rolls are always a good idea too.

  6. pizza

    hotdogs

    spigeti

    chicken wings

    and

    beer

  7. make a trail mix with:

    goldfish crackers (original)

    mini pretzels

    raisins

    peanuts

    and m&ms

it's delicious and you can make A TON of it for not a lot of money. serve it in a big bowl with a scoop and plastic cups so people's hands don't contaminate the whole bowl. so delicious! enjoy!

  8. Queso dip and Chips

    Lil Smokies in BBQ sauce

    Taquitos and Salsa,

    Great recipe:

    8oz block of cream cheese

1 jar of Heinz Chili Sauce (In the ketchup aisle)

1 can of shrimp drained, or crabmeat drained

Put the cream cheese on a plate, pour the chili sauce over it then top it off with the shrimp or crab.  Serve with crackers.

That recipe is also good with just Pepper Relish  and the cheese, no shrimp or crab.

Don't forget Plain old tater chips and Ranch Dip, everyone likes that!

  9. Pigs in a blanket .. these little yummies are loved at EVERY party my mom throws and they're very easy! You'll need a thing of biscuits(or more if needed) .. cocktail weenies .. pepperoni .. and shredded cheese. Roll the weenies and pepperoni into the biscuit .. cook in the oven until it looks done .. not hard to tell .. sprinkle the cheese on top and heat until melted .. serve with mustard and ketchup if you want. They are an unbelievably delicious appetizer!
