  1. I would like to see a leprechaun!

  2. Newgrange; Viking buildings like Reginalds Tower; Blarney castle, The Burren, Rock of Cashel etc etc.

  3. There is SO much of interest in Ireland to see.  The question is, what are YOU interested in?  I wasn't that interested in seeing all the really touristy places, though I do highly recommend the Cliffs of Moher (get there early in the morning and it's very nice -- not a lot of people around).  The Burren is fascinating.  If you can find the Poulawack Cairn, I highly recommend it.  You climb up this big hill covered in limestones and across quite a way to get to it.  You'll feel like you're at the edge of civilization.

I very much loved what I saw of Donegal (the west coast).  It's wild and rugged up there.  We stayed at a cottage called the Atlantic View Cottage near Dungloe (in a little place called Falmore) and the view was just amazing.  The next door neighbours are wonderful there too!

Yeats' tower was interesting if you're into literature.  If you like music, stay a little while in Ennis or Galway -- great stuff at both of those places.
