Babbo is dad, so we have babbo natale for Santa Claus, probabily your teacher says Babbeo it means stupid but is not unpolite like stupid, Bischero in the dialect of tuscany is like stupid, this dialect is famous for all the coloured expressions.They use so much blasphemy, and  expression like "maremma maiala o bucaiola" maremma is the region and maiala literally is the female of pig but it means something like dirty or soil, bucaiola is a bad and unpolite word that means something like female being made only of an hole.

yeah that's true the word babbo is used only in tuscany..i myself use that word (i'm from florence,tuscany) which means dad.. in the rest of italy they use papà

other tuscan slang expressions are garbare (to like) for piacere but also piacere is widely used

bischero (stupid) for stupido

ciuco for asino (donke)

i'(c)che for che cosa (what?)

un for non (not)

gota for guancia but also guancia is widely used (cheeck)

tuscan isn't very different from italian..(you can't call tuscan a dialect) because modern italian come from florentine tuscan..so it hasn't a lot of dialect words

a tuscan inflexion exists instead..we tend to pronounce the letter c (when c is found between to wowels) like in la casa very similar to the letter h in english.. this rule is valid for t p and g(only the g pronounced like j) too

we use a lot the word si like si va for noi andiamo
