What are some ways for a college student to make money online... it doesn't have to be a lot, but just a little. Something to supplement a full/part time job.

No scams, or things where you have to pay to get paid.

I would suggest going to garage sales and yard sales on the weekend and selling the stuff on eBay. I make decent money doing this. I'm not going to lie and say i make like a 1000 a weekend or anything. But I usually make at least $50-$150 a weekend. Just depends on what you find. Working at home is usually either about working for a normal company from home or just working for yourself. Most people work for themselves.

You should really avoid all the things like rebate processing, data entry, surveys, blogs, or mlm or paypal pyramid schemes. All of them either make you next to no money or they're a scam. The more legitimate ways of making money online are things like selling on ebay or outside of ebay or affiliate marketing or selling digital products. I've been working online for 3 years and I've never run across anything outside of those 4 things that really makes you enough money to live off.

But you should know the really hard thing about making money online isn't finding the right way to do it (you can just copy how everyone else is doing it) it's putting in the time. It's harder than it sounds to actually sit infront of your computer for up to 6 hours a day and just work. It sounds easy enough until you sit down to do it. The hardest thing I always find is just focusing. So listening to the radio or music helps but then you're being less productive with what you're doing. And when you're not actually in an office room it's even harder. I've never really found the work I do hard just putting in the time. For me if I can't focus it's the difference between making $50 that day and making a few hundred. So there's usually bad days and really good days. You have to find a balance.

There's actually several ways to earn an income online.

1) Online survey's-not a whole lot of money, but a little.

2) home based online job-in which you make minimum wage.

3) home based business-the income opportunity is the same as a traditional business without all the over head expenses.

I'd suggest starting an online business. That way, as you put in effort over time, it will gradually grow until you make significant money at it. With paid surveys or other things like that, you get paid once for the work you do.  But if you set up an online business, you have the potential to make money over and over again.
