  1. The trick to cooking - whether its a large dinner for many, or a snack-in-the-hand is this:  There Is No Recipe.

Go to your shelves.  Find a base for the snack.  A base will hold the tasty stuff.  Good bases are bread, crackers, celery, cheese slices, etc.

Tasty stuff is as simple as a swipe of peanut butter on up.  Grab the tastes you love.  Got tuna? Use it.  Got jam? Use it.

Try adding ingredients together for more complex tastes.  Add relish to tuna.  Add chopped eggs to avocado chunks.  Add raisins to chicken salad.  Add chopped onion to tuna.

Cooking is like painting.  The color choices are your own.  Be creative.

    Good luck

  2. tuna fish lettuce wraps.

crackers with cheese or peanut butter.

    veggies and ranch.

    frozen grapes (yum!)

chili cheese dip and chips.  layer cream cheese, chili and shredded cheese, then heat to melt shredded cheese.

BLT dip, layer, mayo/sour cream mixture, diced tomatoes, lettuce and bacon bits...good with tortilla chips or on good bread.

It's hard to give you ideas because everyday ingredients differ from every household.  I usually have all the stuff to make the suggestions I just gave you, but that doesn't mean you do also...

  3. How about sugar cookies? And afterwards you can make your own icing and decorate them.

  4. Ritz crackers w/ peanut butter

    Saltine crackers w/ cheese slices

Ham, pasted with cream cheese. Put a dill pickle in the middle, roll it up in the sliced ham. Cut it into pieces. DELICIOUS!

Slice potatoes into wedges. Season them to your taste. Put a tablespoon of season salt in a can of refried beans. Mix it up. Use it as dip for your wedges.

Tortillas and shredded cheese: Put 2 tbsp of Olive Oil in a frying pan. Heat it up. Please one tortilla in the pan and sprinkle cheese all over. Top with another tortilla. Wait 3 minutes, flip tortillas over and brown the other side. Serve w/ sour cream and salsa.

    Apples wedges, dipped in yogurt.
