  1. Being a NSW player(jarrod mullen, kirt gidley, mark gaznier, andrew johns) and getting talked up by channel 9 commontators

  2. As someone has already said, the decoy play is the one used, and misused by some teams, which has a good chance of working.

My favourite was always the chip and chase by speedy backs. Also, players who could offload to waiting runners is always a good play.

Some of the tricks from the old days you can't do anymore like kicking ahead from the play the ball, raking the ball back in the play the ball, loose arm in the scrum to rake the ball, a sneaky punch in the scrum.

  3. the decoy runner is the oldest trick in the book and still works the best

  4. put deep heat on your shirt and rub you opponents face in it

  5. Wait until someone is being held in a tackle by a couple of players and then shoulder charge him.

The other one is to run at a player with your elbow up and get him a good one in the face.

  6. being born in nsw and playing for queensland

cough - greg inglis - cough

  7. ask john hopoate
