burton and k2 are good brands. what do you want to buy him? a board or like clothes or other equipment? that would be helpful if i knew what you are trying to buy

Your right to not go for a board as theres a high chance you wouldent get the right one for your boyfriend, i would avoid getting bindings or boots also. Anything else snowboard related will be ok for jackets and pants try brands like Westbeach, Bonfire, Quicksilver, Special Blend, Foursquare, Helly Hansen, Burton, 686, Analog. For Goggles try brands like Oakley, Spy, Dragon, Von Zipper, Anon, Adidas, Scott, Electric, Smith. For helmets try Protec, Smith, Red, Giro, Dianese.
