What are some soical issues during the Great Depression?

I don't care about the economical impact but how people's lives were changed and other social issues.

The inability to provide for your loved ones.

Economical impact impacts everything else. That alone caused many social issues. Many wealthy people lost everything. There were many suicides due to this alone. Poor folks were perhaps hit the hardest, with many fathers and brothers leaving the family home, and drifting around, looking for work. Crime escalated, as many that could not find work began looking for other means to survive.
