What are some solutions which could help the blind get on the right bus or know what buses are arriving?

how do they tell from buses 1 from 2?

pretend the other passengers do not help the blind people and mind their own business

  1. Well most buses now have a voice annunciator saying out load "Line 238 for South 32 for example) or the driver is suppose to pull up and tell the visually impaired person what line he is driving (they are *suppose* do that) also some times you can get Flash cards(with the line numbers listed) from the transit agency (which are in braille and larger later then the blind person just holds up the flash card for the line they want toward the bus driver


  2. In some areas of the UK there are talking bus stops which will announce, for example, "The next bus is in 2 minutes and is number 15 to Snow Hill"
