I used to be flexible because I did gymnastics. I quit for about three years and now I miss it. I just signed up and classes start in about a month. I'm so inflexible and to do some of the things in my gymnastics class, I need to be flexible. The splits obviously is a big thing in gymnastics.... I CAN BARELY TOUCH MY TOES let alone do the splits! HELP ME! AND FAST! I don't want people saying, "Oh just stretch everyday." I am going to stretch everyday but I need stretches I can use to stretch out my body. I can do tricks like back tucks and back layouts and backhandsprings and flips and front and back walkovers. NONE OF THOSE REALLY NEED FLEXIBILITY! Please help! If you also know any good websites for me to check out... THAT WOULD BE GREAT! Thank you! PLEASE HELP!

  1. nothing is going to make you flexible in one day. you DO have to just stretch everyday. becoming flexible takes time. practice stretching in a straddle position and stretch for splits every day. sit in a split for about 5 minutes on each leg and that will help tremendously. good luck!

  2. everything that strech and long your muscles can help you.

Keep this rutine daily for a week you'll see the results if you want faster result make it twice a day.

    Good luck

  3. Calm down and take a breath.  You need a to do a bridge, and the splits. A broken table would be good too.  Stretch out like a cat and do a pike every day.  Get in a straddle and atretch from side to side.  And by the way back walk overs require a lot of back flexiblity.

  4. do downward dog...(just watch how a do or cat streches there hands forward) also sit on the groun and strech forward like for 15 mins a day and after a few weeks you can easily touch ur toes....

if u want serious and professional help just talk to a yoga teacher.

    hope i helped
