I was just wondering what some subtleties in nature are that not too many people notice.

Everything in nature, every process, works on a multitude of levels.  Just try looking at an ant colony for a few minutes.  I'm afraid you'll need to be more specific.

I haven't heard it before or since a few years back.... but I went for a walk during Late November once... and for the first time in my life I actually heard snow melting.  It's remained a subtlty ever since then, out of my awareness.

I would say that geometry plays a larger part in the life processes than we are ever aware of. The world we live in and look at every day is the result of the interactions of geometry from the sub atomic scale to the appreciation of it on the more macro level.
