i wanna trying some new techniques for throwing a baseball farther and more accurate and i know it will take some time but i just want to build on my throwing and accuracy

  1. Lifting weights, especially squats and bench press will help throw a ball farther.  Also, running a lot will help because a lot of pitching power comes from the legs.  Playing long toss is also helpful.  The main key with long toss is to not just throw "rainbow" throws.  You want to be able to throw the ball and not just pop ups.  Also, some sporting goods stores sell heavier balls.  You can make one yourself with a tennis ball, pennies, and duct tape, but too much use of that ball is bad for shoulder and elbow.  For accuracy, start at a close distance and try to throw for example 3 high and inside pitches.  You can add other locations, and as it becomes easier keep moving back farther.


  2. For one, make sure your throwing completely overhand, not like that 3/4 stuff.  Second for accuracy you can try the glove thing where you point your non dominant hand (glove) at your target and lower it as you overhand it to your target.  This aligns your body to throw it straighter.  Third, i hear playing longtoss for a while everyday really develops the muscles you need for it.  Good luck
