What are some terms of endearment sailors use when they refer to their ships?

  3. Spawn of Satan was always my favorite.... usually when the engine was not behaving. When she is behaving then she's "my darling girl"

  6. First ones that come to my mind are "flat top" for an aircraft carrier, and "tin can" for a destroyer.

  7. My husband endearingly called our sailboat "old girl" - she was an old sailboat.  :)
