  1. my niece did a dora theme birthday, don't worry about it being co-ed you can get some Diego thing for the boys and Dora things for the girl's also it kid friendly and relatively cheap

  2. pirates isn't too boyish try craft stores they are just getting in halloween things so you may have a easier time :D

  3. Well, it really depends on your daughters personality, it is her day after all. If she likes Dora the Explorer, I'm sure that that would be a good idea for a party ~ there are ways that you can incorporate this to make it suitable for a co-ed party.

  4. dora the explorer,spongebob,s****. doo,pooh bear

  5. Dora and Diego are scavengers so you could have a scavenger hunt for little things like paperclips or rubberbands, a penny, etc. Then the winner could win a little gift bag. (a $5 gift card for blockbuster works well because most kids rent games)

You could make a bean bag toss by cutting holes in a board and painting it the colors of the party or if your artistic paint dora and diego on it.

I plan on doing a memory rock station at my daughters 3rd bday. You get medium sized rocks and paint and have the kids paint their hands or names or whatever to remember the party or just to give to their parents. They look cute in flower beds.

  6. I think a pirate theme would be just great!  My daughter did an owl theme last year.  We just had a 3 dimensional owl cake and I decorated brown paper sack/goody bags to look like owls but we didn't do any "owl games".

My strange 3/almost 4 year old has maintained for almost a year that she wants a "santa theme or baby Jesus theme" I'm hoping by September she'll think of something less offensive than a baby Jesus cake!  Good luck!
